Audsmom....My life

Audrey and I went to COSI in Columbus today. We had not been there since last August, and this time I wanted to watch a movie on their huge IMAX screen, it is 61 feet high and 83 feet wide, the largest in Central Ohio. We watched a National Geographic movie called Sea Monsters in 3D. I have to say it was one of the coolest things I have ever watched in my life. Audrey sat mesmerized trying to reach out to the fish.

She really wanted to spend most of her time in the Progress section of the museum which shows a town from 1898 and then a town from 1962. She likes the 1962 diner, we played a game of pinball, and she "cooked" for me and a few other parents there.

As we headed home, we stopped in Springfield at Hobby Lobby so I could pick up some more adhesive to make cards, as I ran out last night. They had some good sales and I picked up a few other things that I had not planned on, like a scrapbook organizer, which was 50% off. It's all metal which was a pain in the butt for me to put together, but there are 2 bins, 4 trays and 6 hanging folders, with a dustcover. The last organizer I bought was made out of plastic and the wheel broke off of it. I'm hoping as I wheel this around it will remain durable.

Here's some photos of our day. I took a lot, but will only post a few. We went outside to the Science Fair area. I thought this sculpture was pretty cool looking with the brick around it. I told Audrey she could pose like a Super Hero who just dropped this huge ball from the sky!

I don't know what this place was next the COSI, but I liked the doors and the saying above the doors from Plato.

The figure below was made out of wire. It looks like a human body, I thought it was pretty cool.

I liked the shadows on the photo below.

The figure below was everywhere hanging up in the Gadgets section. I liked the eyes on these things.

I fell behind on the Deck of Me challenge I'm working on. Week 11 was what is one thing you do on a daily basis that you love? I think this card is plain yet simple, though it's lacking something.

Week 12 was what is your life's theme song?

Week 13 was to think of something that without fail will make me laugh.

While I was crafting, Audrey decided to play school with me. She was on the computer for a few minutes, I heard some typing and then I heard the printer going. Next thing I know, she laid this in front of me. Have I mentioned that she wants to be a teacher when she grows up? I think she's well on her way!

And this is Jason Taylor who has nothing to do with this blog entry, but I wanted to gaze upon him for a few minutes.

I bought a camera off my Dad. He no longer wanted it, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. It's a Canon Rebel XT. A lot of functions that my old cameras never had on it. I need to really read the book, but I thought I would take a few photos and see what happens.

On Thursday afternoon, the sun was shining after work. Since my bedroom faces the West, the sun shines brightly in there. I asked Audrey to pose for me and boy did she ever! These are some of the shots I took.
